I took Fortunate Futures Customer Service class in the summer of 2012. The program was very beneficial to me but I didn't find employment right away after I completed it. I decided to enroll in M.A.T.C.'s Truck Mechanic program. During my time in that program Fortunate Futures continued to provide support to me. They assisted me in finding housing and offered moral support. I graduated in the summer of 2014 and found a way to combine my skills. I now work as a manager for an auto-parts store. Mr. Howard still provides support to me when I need it.

My name is D. Wilder and I am now a Certified Wastewater Operator-In-Training. I was greatly assisted by Mr. Howard through his Fortunate Futures program. Mr. Howard created study materials that helped me to pass the WIDNR wastewater exams. Mr. Howard is also the person who brought this field of study/industry to my attention. Mr. Howard also gave me assistance through practical, common sense advice on how to manage my study habits and soft skills training to go about getting a job in whatever field I choose to explore. I look forward to continue working with Fortunate Future's program for more career training.

Allie has encouraged me to get back in the CNA field, which I lost a feel for but she gave me the resources that I needed to get back in the field that I love. Fortunate Futures helped me in finding my apartment. My case manager met with me at appointments and spoke on my behalf. They also connected me to community programs that helped me to find a job and baby items.

The care coordinators at Fortunate Futures were kind and helpful. They helped me to work with agencies to get the extra money I needed to move to a new apartment. They also helped me find food pantries and extra clothing for my children.
